Leave nothing to question. The 8MP (megapixel) image sensor at the core of the included bullet security cameras is capable of producing vivid 4K UltraHD security footage. Also in this system is eight 4MP (LND4750AB) dome security cameras that can record high-quality 2K SuperHD resolution video.
What are 4K and 2K resolutions?
Your 4K resolution security cameras contain 4× the amount of pixels as a 1080p security camera. Instead of recording at a pixel ratio of 1920 × 1080 (a total of 2,073,600 pixels), your 4K camera can record at a pixel ratio of 3840 x 2160 (a total of 8,294,400 pixels). Similarly, your 2K cameras contain approximately 2× the number of pixels as 1080p cameras. This higher pixel amount will provide you with exceptional video quality, with clear details and sharp outlines. It will also allow for much better digital enhancing. This means that when you spot something in your footage that you need to zoom in on, specific details, such as facial features, will remain visible for longer as you digitally zoom in further and further into the image.
Person and vehicle smart motion detection
The bullet cameras included here come with smart person and vehicle detection that helps identify more important objects that enter the their field of view. Thanks to this innovative feature, you will only get a push notification whenever a person or vehicle is detected on your property. This effectively reduces the number of unwanted false alerts caused by moving branches or animals.
See further into the dark than ever before. Nocturnal security cameras come with high powered infrared LEDs that flood the scene in front of the camera with infrared lighting. Invisible to the naked eye, but not to the camera, this infrared lighting will allow your security camera to see in complete darkness.
Add external lights around your nocturnal security camera to utilize our revolutionary Color Night Vision technology. With CNV, you’ll be able to capture a whole new level of details, such as the color of a car or the color of a person’s clothes, which may prove invaluable if needed for evidence.
See the whole picture with HDR
All security cameras in this system use HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology to help you see details in all areas of the video, regardless of lighting conditions. It works by automatically adjusting the picture’s brightness levels in both dark and bright areas. This ensures that no part of the video is too over-exposed or too dark to see the details you need.
Enhanced clarity and sharpness
Every security camera in this system uses DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) to remove any excessive noise / grain in low-light settings. This will deliver better clarity, sharpness, and improved motion detection. It will also reduce video file sizes as well.
Expanded coverage with built-in microphone
A built-in microphone within your eight 2K and eight 4K Nocturnal dome security cameras allows for listen-in audio recording.* Audio monitoring can provide you with additional information (such as voices), which could prove to be invaluable should an intrusion or event occur on your property. Audio can also help you interpret events, even if the action takes place away from the camera’s field of view.
