2K security monitoring
Leave nothing to question. The 4MP (megapixel) image sensor at the core of this security camera is capable of producing vivid 2K superHD security footage. It also comes with a wide 120° angle lens that is perfect for monitoring doorways or open areas.
2K vs 1080p resolution
This 2K resolution security camera contains double the amount of pixels as a 1080p security camera. Instead of recording at a pixel ratio of 1920 × 1080 – a total of 2,073,600 pixels, this nocturnal audio dome records a pixel ratio of 2688 × 1520 – a total of 4,085,760 pixels. One of the main benefits of a higher pixel count is the quality of the digital zooms when reviewing footage.
Infrared Night Vision
See further into the dark than ever before. Nocturnal security cameras come with high powered infrared LEDs that flood the scene in front of the camera with infrared lighting. Invisible to the naked eye, but not to the camera, this infrared lighting will allow your security camera to see in complete darkness.
Color Night Vision (CNV™)
Add external lights around your nocturnal security camera to utilize our revolutionary Color Night Vision technology. With CNV, you’ll be able to capture a whole new level of details, such as the color of a car or the color of a person’s clothes, which may prove invaluable if needed for evidence.
eShutter™
The higher the shutter speed, the sharper the video. A high shutter speed, however, requires a lot of light. Thankfully, this camera’s eShutter™ (electronic shutter) figures out this balance for you, so you will always have optimized lighting with the least amount of motion blur.
Active mechanical lens filter
An Active Mechanical Lens Filter, otherwise known as the IR Cut Filter, is used by this camera to prevent UV and infrared rays from entering the lens during the day. Without it, the coloring of the video would not be accurate. This lens filter will then automatically disengage at night to allow the infrared light in.
Real-time 30FPS recording rate
This security camera is capable of recording 2K security footage at 30 frames-per-second (FPS). 30 FPS will provide exceptionally smooth on-screen movement and provide you with more frames to choose from when reviewing footage.
Enhanced security monitoring with HDR
This security camera uses HDR (High Dynamic Range) technology to ensure that you capture the most important details, regardless of lighting conditions. Dynamic range is measured as the difference between the brightest point and the darkest point of the video. HDR technology uses this difference to automatically adjust the picture’s brightness, resulting in optimized, highly-detailed security video.
Increased clarity in low-light situations
This camera uses 3D-DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) technology to filter out digital noise from low-light scenes, as well as any noise caused by motion. By eliminating this graininess, your camera will deliver a cleaner, more accurate image with better clarity, sharpness, and improved motion detection.
Auto white balance
An auto white balance feature automatically adjusts the color settings so that white areas in real life will be reproduced as white in your footage. This will then ensure that all other colors will be accurate. White balance customization is also available through the NVR as well for additional levels of white balance control to suit your needs.
HEVC / H.265 compression
High Efficiency Video Compression (HEVC or H.265) compression technology is used by this camera to compress video file sizes without any noticeable difference in quality. When compared to the previous compression technology, H.264, HEVC can compress data up 40% more with the same level of quality. Please note that an NVR capable of receiving this type of compression is necessary to utilize this feature.
